We were absolutely delighted with our trip. The guide Joe Banana were uniformily excellent but all unique and engaging as well as informative.

There were 4 of us in a Mercedes sedan along the Amalfi cost. This shore excursion was excellent.

Amalfi Coast Positano & Sorrento 8/5/2010

Giovanni,

I just wanted to follow up after our wonderful excursion last week in Sorrento and Positano. It does not seem a week ago that we were on the Amalfi coast. Pasquale did a great job driving us around, showing us the sights and taking such good care of us. We could not have wished for better service and the choice of restaurant in Positano for lunch, so we very much appreciate all you did. We shall certainly contact you again when we return.

I contacted "Joe" by looking up limos in Italy, we were 4 people and wanted a limo in Florence, Rome and Naples. The price was very good and Joe suggested if we could get two more couples it would be even cheaper. Well I did just that and it cost us about 1/3 of the price of the cruise line bus excursions. But price isn't that important for a once in a lifetime trip. I couldn't have enjoyed the limos, drivers, and Joe (he was our last driver) more. The limos were new, we were taken directly to the points of interest (a bus couldn't get through some of the downtown streets. I recommend Joe Banana Limos and would be happy to answer any direct e-mail for information.

We booked three tours through Joebananalimos.net The first day we were met right off our cruise ship by Giovanni "Joe Banana". He was courteous, friendly and knowledgeable. He opened the doors every time we made a stop and was only too happy to take pictures of our group. He recommended restaurants that were not "touristy" and not pricy. He described the highlights of the tour and answered our questions.

Just a quick note to say Thank you and tell you how wonderful our day in Sorrento, Positano and Amalfi was. All because of you. Your tour and personal attention, kindness and passion for the area made us feel lucky to have chosen your company. We can't thank you enough for what has turned out to be a top highlight of our entire trip throughout not only Italy but including the cruise through the Greek Isles as well. Please feel free to use our response as a very solid endorsement for future clients.

Francesco (Port of Livorno to Pisa, Tuscany, Florence) and Marcello (from Port of Civitavecchia to Rome) made our trip so much more than we would have ever achieved if we had relied upon the cruise ship tours. We were in awe of their knowledge of the city and all of the back streets. It was really special to go places out of reach for the tour buses and they gave us just enough free time in each place to get us hooked and wanting to come back to Italy. Our time with each of them was very personal and enjoyable and it seemed that each of them really enjoy their craft of making memorable moments for their travelers - but then, who wouldn't love to meet people from all over the world and share the history and beauty of their country.

We were very much looking forward to our third limo tour in Naples and to see Pompei, but of course, the cruiseline failed to get a docking assignment in the port ahead of other cruise ships and tendering passengers became a safety issue. So we left Naples very disappointed, but with a definite hunger to return to Italy and enjoy the Amalfi Coastal areas and Pompei. We have already excitedly told our friends about your limo service and definitely would recommend you to anyone we know going to Italy.

Of course, if you or any of these folks ever make it to Texas, we would expect you to stop in and stay a night with us! In fact, in our city of McKinney, we have a replica village called Adriatica, a Croatian village modeled after Dubrovnik, to help you enjoy a little European atmosphere in Texas in case you get home sick while visiting the United States.
