Buffalo mozzarella farm
Enjoy a day off the beaten path, visiting Paestum and tasting freshly made buffalo mozzarella cheese.
You will stop in Paestum, where three of the world's best-preserved ancient Greek temples are located. You will have time to visit this UNESCO Heritage site, as well as the museum where millennia-old frescoes, ceramics and daily artifacts are kept.
You will visit a buffalo mozzarella farm and learn everything about this historically famous Italian food. See one of the farms where this special "Mediterranean breed" of water buffalos are pampered and whose milk is expressly destined for the production of mozzarella. You will see the entire production line and ultimately have the opportunity to taste several freshly produced goods.
You will have a light lunch at the farm, that usually includes an appetizer, a pasta main dish and a dessert (included in the price). There is also an optional wine tasting at an extra cost of 10€ per person.
