Explore one of the oldest cities in the Mediterranean: Syracuse!

You will have time to explore the local market and have the chance to taste some of the local delicacies. Delight in the "scaccia", a baked focaccia with various fillings, the "pastizzetti", small baskets of pasta filled with minced meat, pecorino cheese and rice, and many others.

You will visit the Greek and Roman buildings, incredibly well-preserved examples of the glorious past of this city that used to be one of the most powerful locations in the Mediterranean Sea.

You will discover mythological places, like the Ear of Dionysius, a "Latomia" (quarry) with remarkable acoustic properties which amplify the sounds inside it, that according to the legend, the tyrant Dionysus used it as a jail and he used to eavesdrop on the prisoners’ conversations.
