Enjoy an all inclusive experience discovering the best of Pompeii and Sorrento!

You will visit the world famous ruins of Pompeii with a 2 hour private guided tour, and discover everything about this once flourishing Roman town that came to a premature end due to the untimely eruption of Mt. Vesuvius in 79 A.D.

You will explore an old lemon grove located in Sorrento and learn everything about this golden treasure, from the harvesting techniques to all the awesome products created with it locally. The visit will be followed by a light lunch, where of course, lemons will be the main ingredient!

You will have time in Sorrento, a beautiful town, built as a terrace on the Mediterranean sea. This town is the perfect place where to take a walk, especially in the historic section, where there are many boutiques and colourful shops offering everything from leather goods, ceramics, jewellery and all things lemon.

What should I wear for this tour?

We suggest that you wear comfortable walking shoes as there is quite a bit of walking involved on uneven surfaces.

Is this tour accessible for people with limited walking abilities?

The itinerary can be certainly customised according to your needs, but please note that some areas may not be accessible with a stroller/wheelchair or for people with limited walking abilities.

Where and how will I find the driver?

We had the best time with Bruno and the Joe Bananas tour of Sorrento with a lemon grove/restaurant experience and Pompeii. They were communicative and prompt with pick up, the van held our group of 7 very comfortably and we will never forget the gorgeous sites along the Amalfi Coast. The lemon experience and lunch were the highlight of our 11 night cruise, learning about the famous Amalfi lemons and participating in a lemoncello making followed by an amazing lunch. They were also very accommodating with the gluten allergy within our group. It was very hot and we were nervous about traffic so we requested a shortened "highlights only" tour of Pompeii and they delivered a great condensed version. We would absolutely recommend this tour to friends; and we wouldn't hesitate to use Joe Bananas in the future.
