When our Italy vacation was in the planning stage two years ago, I contacted Joe Bananas to inquire on excursions. We were arriving via cruise ship in Livorno, Civitavecchia, and Sorrento. We chose to visit San Gimignano, and the Chianti Region, a city tour of Rome, and a private boat tour of the Amalfi Coast. I can not say enough praise for this company, and their representative the took care of our "bookkeeping", Rosella. Each excursion showed us the best of the area. The vehicles were comfortable, and clean. The drivers, and Skipper were all prompt, and a joy to be around. We saw so much, and took away memories that will clearly last a lifetime. There was constant communication during the months of preparation. Rosella took care of me, and the group of 8 who were traveling. Look no further when making your travel plans for Italy. This is my second time using Joe Banana's Service, first was 3 years ago on a trip with my girlfriends and this time around with my sister and nieces was equally exceptional. Our transfers to and from Naples to Sorrento were great. Our pick up driver Chiro was also our driver for the Amalfi Coast tour and his knowledge of the area was amazing, he recommended some great lunch and shopping spots and we really enjoyed our tour with him. Our boat trip to Capri was also fantastic, my nieces were having such great time cruising along and swimming we opted for a quick lunch by the water on Capri and back to the boat. Our captain Salvatore provided us snacks and Proseco and kept us entertained.

The best experience ever!! From the very beginning this was a fantastic experience. Nothing was an issue & a last minute change was handled extremely well without any issue. Our small family group (three adults and two older children) ended up doing three day tour/transfers with this company--a boat tour/transfer from Naples to Sorrento via Procida/Ischia, a boat tour on the Amalfi Coast, and a driving tour/transfer from the Amalfi Coast to Naples via Herculaneum and Mt Vesuvius. We could not recommend them more highly. The communication was excellent, and Maria C. in particular not only helped us figure out what to book, but then made sure everything went smoothly during our trips. Which ended up critical, as the day we had planned for our second trip (originally a boat tour/transfer from Capri to the Amalfi Coast), the seas were very rough and it made no sense to try to do the original tour plan. So Maria C. helped us change plans as the situation developed. Despite the conditions we could take a ferry from Capri to Sorrento, so Maria C. helped us swap over to a van transfer from Sorrento to our next place on the Amalfi Coast that day, and then rearranged the boat tour for a calmer day. Overall the value for our family was excellent when you consider we were combining tours and transfers. And of course if you are looking at this option, one of the things you are really hoping to get is a flexible, custom, low-stress experience that makes it easy to just relax and enjoy your vacation. That is exactly what we got from Joe Banana Limos and Maria C., and that makes it easy for us to recommend them to anyone looking for these sorts of services.

We used Joe bananas for four separate activities. First was a transfer from the Naples train station with a guided tour in Pompeii to Positano. Second was an eight hour boat tour around the Amalfi coast. Third, was a transfer to the start of the path of the gods. Forth was a transfer back to the train station. I got several quotes and they were very reasonably priced in comparison. Nunzia who we dealt with on the reservations, was extremely responsive and helpful.Nick, our first driver, was the best and gave us the lay of the land. All the drivers and guides were amazing. I was really pleased we used their service and it was worth the extra money to have this care during a very crowded season on the Amalfi coast.
