Explore the main square (St. Mark's) and visit St. Mark's Basilica, a wonderful example of italo-byzantine architecture that has stood the test of time since its creation in 1092. You will remain in awe not only from the stunning exterior, rich in sculptures and artwork, but also upon sight of the exquisitely decorated interior, where more than 2000 precious stones were used to ornate the golden altar.

You will also have the chance to tailor this service and add a visit to the museum of the Doge Palace, a 13,000 square foot Gothic palace that used to be the seat of the government under the Venetian Republic. Today, you will find thousands of pieces of artwork from well-known artists from the Venetian Renaissance such as the Tintoretto, the Canaletto, Tiepolo and many more.
