Enjoy a thrilling and delightful experience on the largest active volcano in Europe: Mt Etna!

Your private driver, at your disposal for the day, will escort you up to 2,000 meters where you will enjoy a walk in the lunar landscapes of crater "Silvestri", made of deserts of black lava.

You will stop at a local honey farm where you will taste not only the several types of honey produced there, but also enjoy a sampling of almond pastries, olives, extra virgin olive oil and, of course, wine!

You will visit a local vineyard situated in a wonderful position overlooking the sea. There you will learn about the techniques used to make wine in such a unique area.

You will taste four different locally produced wines, paired with a simple but tasty Sicilian lunch. The usual lunch includes dried tomatoes, mushrooms and olives of the area, local cured meats, Pepato cheese, and many other specialties.

Where and how will I find the driver?

Your driver will be waiting for you at the confirmed pickup location (your arrival train track, at the airport arrival exit gate, at your accommodation) holding a sign with your name written on it.

What should I wear for this tour?

We suggest that you wear comfortable walking shoes as there is quite a bit of walking involved on uneven surfaces.

Is this tour suitable for people with limited walking abilities?

Due to the uneven surfaces in some areas, this service may not be suitable for stroller/wheelchair users or for people with limited walking abilities.

What type of vehicle will be used for our tour?

We provide services in luxury Mercedes and Volkswagen sedans, minivans or minibuses (depending on availability). For parties of 1-3 guests we normally use a sedan. For parties of 4-8 guests we use minivans. And for parties larger than 8 guests we either use multiple minivans or a minibus (depending upon availability).
