Day 1 | Arrival at Venice Airport. One of our representative will be waiting for you outside the baggage claim, you’ll boat transfer from airport to a 4 or 5-star accommodation in Venice. Remainder of the day/evening at your leisure. |
Day 2 | Private walking day tour of Venice and stop to the beautiful ice skating rink which is surrounded by a small Christmas market, you can’t ask for a more picture-perfect setting than that; quaint, cosy and utterly wholesome! |
day 3 | Full day exploring Venice. Visit Murano, discover the magnificent architecture, art and history of this city, visit St. Mark’s Square, Doge’s Palace, see famous landmarks such as Giotto Bell Tower and the Rialto Bridge with a private 4 hour guided walking tour. Complete the day with a 30 minute gondola ride along the Grand Canal. |
day 4 | Day tour in Verona which means you will be delighted by its colorful lights and decorations, taste its traditional sweets and be surprised by its many Christmas trees. Everything in this period is bright and magic, as a fairytale. There are a lot of Italian specialties to taste in Verona. One of them is related to Christmas: the “Pandoro”, a traditional sweet of the city prepared for holidays. Enjoy a 3 hour walking tour of the city with a professionally licensed English speaking guide. Visit the Juliet’s Balcony, one of the most charming Verona attractions, principal character of the Romeo and Juliet legend, the most romantic drama by Shakespeare. |
day 5 | Check out from your accommodation and check in Venice and transfer to Firenze with a stop to a cheese factory in Parma, home town of the most famous cheese in the world: Parmigiano Reggiano! Includes guided visit of the dairy and a tasting. Next stop: balsamic vinegar farm in Modena! Guided visit of the farm and tasting of Modena's Black Gold with a selection of cold cuts and cheeses (with a glass of Lambrusco wine!). Arrival in Florence for a relaxing 6 night stay in one of the most beautiful Italian cities. |
day 6 | Full day in Florence. Private six hour tour of Florence with a professionally licensed, English speaking guide. Visit iconic sites such as The Accademia and see Michelangelo’s famous Statue of David, see Piazza Santa Croce, Piazza Signoria, Ponte Vecchio, The Duomo, and visit The Uffizi. Skip the line entrance tickets to Accademia and Uffizi included. |
day 7 | Cinque Terre guided tour, during which you will visit Manarola and discover one of the biggest Nativity scene of the world with over 17,000 lights that illuminates hills and sea. |
day 8 | Full day at the discovery of San Marino becomes an ideal destination for a pinch of culture to support shopping and fun: in addition to the Christmas Markets, in fact, San Marino stages nativity scenes, shows, concerts and creative workshops. |
day 9 | Leisure day in Florence where you can visit the Christmas Markets held in Piazza Santa Croce. Nothing is missing, not even Santa's House, complete with a post office for children's letters. |
day 10 | Full day tour to Siena, San Gimignano. You will visit Siena, a town full of history and art. Do not miss a visit to Piazza del Campo and maybe to one of the famous ”contrada”. Explore San Gimignano, a beautiful example of an Italian medieval town. Do not forget to taste the Vernaccia di San Gimignano wine, a typical wine from the Chianti region. |
