day 4 | Stroll through the Christmas markets of Rome and enjoy the city lights and illuminated monuments.
Enjoy a traditional Christmas dinner in Rome, from la stracciatella cheese to the famous fettuccine with ragù and delicious lamb served with roman-style artichokes. |
day 5 | Check-out of your hotel in Rome and head on to Sorrento for a three night stay in a 4 or 5 star hotel with a stop in Naples en-route to explore the wonders of the Christmas markets at the Railway Museum of Pietrarsa and, without a doubt, the magic of San Gregorio Armeno, the street that hosts artisan shops all year round dedicated to the creation of nativity figurines: a stop not to be missed for immerse yourself in Neapolitan folklore and in the atmosphere of Christmas.
Don’t forget to try the excellent struffoli, balls of shortcrust pastry covered with honey and colored sugared almonds, but also the other typical Neapolitan sweets such as roccocò, raffiuoli, susamielli and so much more. day 6 | Day tour along the Amalfi Coast. Visit Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello. You will visit one of the oldest lemon groves in the area where, together with a local guide, you will discover everything about this golden treasure! You will learn how Limoncello is made, have a tasty appetizer and a full course lunch where the main ingredient will be lemon! |
day 7 | Enjoy a day at your leisure in Sorrento. Enjoy the evening in Salerno to admire the magical Christmas lights “Luci d’Artista” designed by master craftsmen of lights and stroll through the markets along the seafront. |
day 8 | Departure from your hotel in Sorrento to FCO or Naples Airport. |
