Enjoy an awesome All Inclusive experience combining history and great food!

Together with your private guide in Pompeii, you will explore this famous archaeological site which is what remains of the ancient Roman town destroyed by the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius in 79 A.D. This two hour private guided tour and entrance fees to the site of Pompeii are included.

You will stop in an old olive oil mill in the Sorrento area where you will learn everything there is to know about the processing of this golden treasure. You will have the chance to taste more than 30 different locally produced goods served with freshly baked bread.

You will have a professional pizza chef teach you how to prepare a real pizza! You will prepare the dough from scratch, then add various toppings, and finally bake the pizza in a traditional wood oven. After this unforgettable cooking class you will have the pleasure of eating your own masterpiece! Pizza will be served with drinks and a dessert, all included in the price.

You will stop in Sorrento and have time to explore this famous resort town. Built as a terrace on the Mediterranean sea, there you will admire breath-taking views amidst the fragrance of lemon and orange gardens. Take time to explore the historic section, where there are many boutiques and colourful shops offering everything from leather goods, ceramics, jewellery and anything lemon.

What should I wear for this tour?

We suggest that you wear comfortable walking shoes as there is quite a bit of walking involved on uneven surfaces.

Is this tour accessible for people with limited walking abilities?

The itinerary can be certainly customised according to your needs, but please note that some areas may not be accessible with a stroller/wheelchair or for people with limited walking abilities.

We are so glad we booked a day with Joe Banana. We were looking forward to Pompeii so much but knew it would be hot and crowded. Our driver took us there first, where we had a fantastic private tour tailored to our interest. She managed to keep us in the limited shade and go around the big groups. Then, the highlight of our trip was pizza making. It was at a real restaurant kitchen, but just our family made the pizzas, we all absolutely loved it. And the pizza tasted amazing! One of our favorite days of a 2 weeks trip.

This was such a fun day and one of the highlights of our trip. Everything was taken care of from start to finish. Our amazing driver Antonio picked us up right on time. He was the BEST!! Cannot recommend Antonio enough. He was incredibly professional, personable, funny, and informative. He made the crazy drive along the Amalfi coast look easy. Everyone in our group wished he could take us along the coast every day. The Pizza making was so fun! The restaurant owners guided us through how to make the best Naples style pizza and the ambiance was wonderful. You cannot beat the views from their cozy family owned restaurant. In addition, our time in Pompeii was wonderful and informative. Our guide Paulo was the BEST!! He was funny but also incredibly knowledgeable about Pompeii and we all walked away feeling as if we learned so much. Would highly recommend this tour to others traveling along the Amalfi coast.
