Explore Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast at your own pace in total relaxation and comfort!

You will have time to visit Sorrento, a beautiful town that inspired may poets and songwriters throughout history. Be enchanted by its stunning panoramas, or take a stroll, especially in its historic section, where there are many boutiques selling local crafts, such as leather goods, ceramics, jewelery and all things lemon.

You will explore the world famous Positano, the "Jewel of the Amalfi Coast". Take a picture of its unique vertical skyline, and walk around its alleys and down its steps where small shops display the typical products of local craftsmanship, such as the fresh linen dresses in style "Positano fashion", the leather sandals, the colorful ceramics and limoncello.

You will stop in Ravello, which unlike many of the towns along the Coast is located up on the hill. This charming resort village is blessed with stunning views, best admired from the cliffside gardens of Villa Cimbrone and Villa Rufolo. It is also home to many cultural events like the Ravello Festival and a multitude of concerts held in the Auditorium Oscar Niemeyer.

What should I wear if I want to visit some religious sites?

If you intend to visit religious sites, please have knees and shoulders covered (both men and women).

Is this tour accessible for people with limited walking abilities?

The itinerary can be certainly customised according to your needs, but please note that some areas may not be accessible with a stroller/wheelchair or for people with limited walking abilities.

Where and how will I find the driver?

Your driver will be waiting for you at the confirmed pickup location (your arrival train track, at the airport arrival exit gate, at your accommodation) holding a sign with your name written on it.

We had a tour for the day while on a Mediterranean cruise stop in Naples Italy. Bruno picked us up at the ship as instructed. He was wearing a suit and driving a black SUV which was so comfortable for the day. Bruno explained the area and our first stop was a road side view of the coast and a taste of a cold lemon non alcohol drink from a local vendor. The view was stunning. Then to Sorrento with time to walk, have a cappuccino and shop. Next stop lunch at a wonderful restaurant on the side of the mountain overlooking the Amalfi coast below. The food was delicious served 4 course meal wine, caprese salad, margarita pizza, 3 types of pasta and fruit with gelato for desert followed by limoncello shot and cappuccino to finish. Then to Positano to have time to walk down to the beach, more shopping. A wonderful day, delicious food and the best tour guide Bruno. Best tour! And the tour company kept in touch with us to make sure everything was going well. Worth taking as a private tour. The best on our vacation.

On a recent Girls' trip we used the services of Joe Banana several times. We booked a private tour (for 4 of us) to Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast. By booking a private tour we were able to customize exactly what we wanted to do. Our Guide / Driver Bruno was amazing. He kept us entertained with stories and history along the way and arranged for us to have an oil tasting at a local spot -it was great! I had the honor or having Bruno Cutrona as my driver during my solo tour of Positano, Amalfi and Ravello from Sorrento. Bruno was the perfect gentleman and guide.He is knowledgeable, friendly and has a wealth of information on Italy. At my request he walked with me through the cities and showed me landmarks that I would othewise not have found on my own. We had lunch at a wonderful sea side restaurant between Positano and Amalfi. He is THE BEST! That day was my highlight while visiting Sorrento. We had great conversation and I made a new friend. I would highly recomend Joe Banana and if you can, request Bruno!
