Val d'Orcia & Wine Tour

We started in Sorrento and made our way to Pompeii and Mt Vesuvius. Our tour guides, Paolo and Luigi were welcoming, knowledgeable, and funny. They accommodated all of our needs, allowed us to customize the tour on the spot, gave us plenty of time to wander around Pompeii, and made sure we had a great lunch all before hiking the mighty Mt Vesuvius. They were so great we booked with them twice after! Love this company.

A great day with our guide Luigi experiencing all the amazing Rome sites. We fit a lot in. Luigi was very knowledgeable; drove us up to each stop and gave us information and history. He made sure we were happy and tailored our day based on our needs. There were 8 of us, four adults and four kids (ages 11-14). We all had a fantastic time learning about Rome and awed by the sheer amount of history in that city. Greatly recommend Joe Banana and Luigi

Our driver/guide Antonio went out of his way all day long, to make this the ultimate day for us along the Amalfi Coast. He should be in the Hall of Fame for guides. He explained so much and listened to what we like, so he could make it the best day possible. He was waiting for us at the agreed upon time at the cruise pier in Naples. We went straight to Positano to beat the traffic. We had about an hour to stroll around. Next, he took us to the ceramic factory that makes most of what you see in most of the shops along the Amalfi coast. I believe it was called Picadilly. The factory and shop are dug into a cliff along the famous windy road along the coast. The prices and selection were fantastic. Not sure how I got all those treasures home. Next was a brief stop in Amalfi. I had been there before and it is the least interesting of the lovely places along the coast, but worth the brief 20 minute stop. We next proceeded to Ravello. Antonio asked us if we wanted to go to a tourist place or a place the locals go. We choose local. Grandma herself waits on you. What a sweetheart. Her parents opened the restaurant in 1929 and continued til their 90s, when she took over. The food was authentic, as was the little no charge extra,salad, a little dessert and a big pinch on your cheek (face)! We then had about an hour to stroll around before heading back to the ship. Bravo to Antonio and thanks to Rosella, the office manager, who arranged our tours in Naples and Civitavecchia! We lad a lovely day!

We completely appreciated the great professional, reliable service of Joe Banana Limos. Our driver Massimo was absolutely wonderful to us - he is very professional and knowledgeable of the area. Drove smoothly along the winding Amalfi coast roads, knows what spots provide amazing lookouts away from the tour groups, and we learned so much more about the area than we would have otherwise. We had 3 separate trips booked with Massimo, his recommendations were excellent and were highlights of time in Italy. Highly recommend Joe Banana and Massimo in particular!

his is the 3rd time we have used Joe Bananas and we were again blown away by their service. We had just one day this time in Rome and were with people who had never been so we knew we had to do the usual Vatican, Colosseum, Trevi fountain etc which we did not mind. But in comes Jose!!! Jose is without a doubt the best kept secret of Rome, as he said "you've not seen Rome until you've done it the Jose way"!! We did get to see all the usual sights but he took us to some total surprises too. Not going to give it away but if you go to Rome and want to see the real Rome from every wonderful vantage point, book Joe Bananas and ask for Jose! Mention to him that you read this review and ask him to take you to the keyhole!! It blew me away!!

Once again, we used Joe Banana Limos for our all-day excursion to the Cinque Terre from the port of Livorno. Our driver was right there when we exited the ship and quickly whisked us up to the first of the 5 towns. He provided excellent information on how to navigate getting from town to town. The day was perfectly timed and we were back to the ship with plenty of time to spare. I highly recommend Joe Banana for excellent service and great drivers/guides. My family and recently finished another amazing trip to Italy. We did and extensive day of touring with our private guide, Paolo! (whom i may add is now more a friend of the family). He spent almost 12 hrs taking us to Pompeii, Herculaneam, limoncello factory, lunch and a climb up Vesuvius. Amazing man, amazing day. i will forever think of him when I have ice cream brioche!

My wife and I would like to thank JB Limo for our extensive 21 day tour thru Italy from Amalfi coast to Venice. Rossella was a delight to work with as we planned our vacation. A few of the highlights included the private boat excursion down the Amalfi coast, private boat to Capri and our visit to Osteria di Passignano winery in Tuscany which included one of our favorite meals. This is our third time using JB Limo services when visiting Italy and they have always exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend their services.
