This is the perfect tour for whomever wishes to discover the Tuscan countryside!

Your driver will escort you through the rolling tuscan hills, made of historic olive groves, vast vineyards and typical little towns, stopping for photos along the way.

You will visit the Chianti Region, stopping in several small towns, the most famous one being Greve in Chianti. Best-known as the “wine town”, as you will find many typical shops with “vino for sale” and visit the very peculiar triangular square where the market is held.

You will visit in a local vineyard and learn about the wine making process and taste several local wines, followed by a typical Mediterranean light lunch.

You will visit the medieval town of San Gimignano, a UNESCO Heritage Site, famous for its skyline of tall towers and enjoy a stroll along its streets. Do not forget to visit the Duomo with its walls entirely covered in frescos.

My husband and I took Tours in Tuscany a private tour company to CHIANTI AND SAN GIMIGNANO. It was an absolutely amazing trip. Our driver was exceptionally knowledgeable and enthusiastic. We were picked up from our hotel. We had a wonderful, comfortable, informative ride to our destination. Once there our driver gave us a little information and tips of what to see, where to eat etc. and we went on our own to explore. We met at a designated time and place for the trip back to Florence. The entire experience was terrific and absolutely worth the money for the private tour.

Our driver/guide, Alessandro, made our tour experience phenomenal. He arrived on-time in a clean, comfortable van and was very likable and professional. Sienna was very nice, and my wife and I liked San Gimignano even more. Between the two cities, he took us to a local farm for lunch and tastings of wine and balsamic. I am not normally a wine drinker, but the wine was great and the farm setting overlooking Tuscany's rolling hills was amazing. I highly recommend Chianti Drivers and Alessandro.
