Your private guide, at your disposal for the entire day, will be waiting for you at the gangway of your cruise ship, ready to start this fantastic day.

You will catch the 7:55 a.m. hydrofoil to Capri (tickets not included) where, together with your guide, you will explore this beautiful island. You will have time to visit the main attractions or discuss your preferences with your guide to customize your time on the island.

You will visit Sorrento, a charming resort town built as a terrace on the Mediterranen Sea. This town inspired many poets and songwriters in history and still retains its charm today. It is also a perfect place to splurge on shopping for local cratfs, with the many boutiques offering everything from leather goods, ceramics, jewellery and all things lemon. (Hydrofoil tickets not included).

Your professional guide will escort through the millennia-old streets of Pompeii, bringing all the secrets and aspects of this ancent Roman civilization back to life. This UNESCO world heritage site is one of the best preserved Roman sites, as it was buried under ash and rocks for 2,000 years, due to the tragic eruption of Mt. Vesuvius on August 24, 79 A.D. (entrance tickets included).

What should I wear for this tour?

We suggest that you wear comfortable walking shoes as there is quite a bit of walking involved on uneven surfaces.

What should I wear if I want to visit some religious sites?

If you intend to visit religious sites, please have knees and shoulders covered (both men and women).

Is this tour accessible for people with limited walking abilities?

The itinerary can certainly be customised according to your needs, but please note that some areas may not be accessible with a stroller/wheelchair or for people with limited walking abilities.

Where and how will I find the driver at Naples port?

Your driver will be waiting for you outside of the cruise ship terminal (just outside the white building) holding a sign with your name written on it.

We have a back to port policy of at least 1 hour prior to the last scheduled boarding time for the ship.

Really enjoyed our day trip to 2 fabulous locations. Capri is incredibly beautiful and enjoyed the time there. I would suggest spending the majority of your time "upstairs" instead of breaking time up between the port and middle of the island. Unparalleled shipping. Pompeii was amazing as well. It was a huge place and we got a nice tour and visual of what life was like!

We could not have been happier with this tour. Our guide was wonderful and we never felt rushed. I enjoyed Capri and it was very relaxing. The small bus tour group is great as you can get to know the others and enjoy their company. Pompeii was fantastic and our guide took extra time there so we actually came back almost 2 hours late, which was well worth it. I would to it all again anytime!

Her passion for the history of Capri Island, Pompeii and Napoli was obviously deep, and she expressed that in every moment as she told us about everything. This tour exceeded our expectations.
