Please notice: Due to the increasingly high tourist volume within the Cinque Terre, a local Administration Decree has prohibited private vehicles to drive through them. Your driver will accompany you to the first town and point you out where you can get the tickets for the ferry or train (not included in the rate), and wait for you in the last town at the end of the day.

Discover one of the world’s most enchanting landscapes, the unique Cinque Terre Region, composed of the charming towns of Manarola, Monterosso al Mare, Riomaggiore, Corniglia and Vernazza. It has been deemed a UNESCO heritage since 1997.

Those five villages suspended between sea and land will surely fascinate you with their incredible panoramas made of steep terraces, gardens, vineyards and olive groves, hanging from sheer cliffs thank to an ingenous system of "muretti" (low stone walls) shaped and layered over the course of nearly two millennia.

Each and every one of these small towns has a history and personality of its own, and they are all beautiful to visit.

Is this tour accessible for people with limited walking abilities?

The itinerary can certainly be customised according to your needs, but please note that some areas may not be accessible with a stroller/wheelchair or for people with limited walking abilities.

What should I wear if I want to visit some religious sites?

If you intend to visit religious sites, please have knees and shoulders covered (both men and women).

Where and how will I find the driver at Livorno port?

Your driver will be waiting for you at the gangway of your cruise ship holding a sign with your name written on it.

What is your back to port policy?

We have a back to port policy of at least 1 hour prior to the last scheduled boarding time for the ship.

Once again, we used Joe Banana Limos for our all-day excursion to the Cinque Terre from the port of Livorno. Our driver was right there when we exited the ship and quickly whisked us up to the first of the 5 towns. He provided excellent information on how to navigate getting from town to town. The day was perfectly timed and we were back to the ship with plenty of time to spare. I highly recommend Joe Banana for excellent service and great drivers/guides. Our Cruise ship changed destination to Livorno and we didn't think we could get to Cinque Tere.... We had booked with Joe Banana tours thinking we would give it a go. The night before we had heard that all the walks were closed so our expectations were low. How surprised we were. We were collected by collected by Roberto in a van (there was 6 of us). He blew our expectations. First we went to the town of Port Venere. If we had stopped here we would have been happy but no, on we went. We were able to visit 3 of the Cinque Tere towns. He dropped us off at the first town (Manarola) and gave very good instructions as to how long we could spend in this town and then the train timetable. We were able to have lunch at the second town (Venazza) and a look around then he collected us at the top of the town. Then drove us to Corniglia for a relaxed stroll. Then from there he said we had time to go to Pisa. I can't rave enough how good Roberto was. He knew where we could and should go but gently pointed in us in the right direction. He was very knowledgable but not in your face way. If English was outstanding. At the end of the trip we had a call via Roberto from the Joe Banana's manager checking how the day went. We have had 5 tours on this trip and Roberto was the best by miles!
