You will have time to visit one of the most important archaeological sites in the world: Pompeii. This Roman town was untouched for 2,000 years, as it was buried deep under ash and rocks during the dramatic eruption of Vesuvius on August 24, 79 A.D. This natural presevation has given present-day visitors the possibility to walk around millennia old streets, and visit old houses, temples, shops, cafes, amphitheatres, and even a brothel.

You will stop in Sorrento, a beautiful resort town built as a terrace on the Mediterranean Sea. Enjoy a coffee in the main piazza or stroll around the historic section where there are many boutiques and colourful shops offering everything from leather goods, ceramics, jewellery and all things lemon.

Your driver will escort you along the Amalfi Coast drive, making photo stops along the way. You will visit Amalfi, the main town of the coast whose origins date back to the Romans. Shop for handmade Amalfi paper, bottles of local limoncello, and of course ceramics, as you wander around its beautiful maze of streets or visit the striking Cathedral that bears Moorish influences, visible in the arches and decorations

What should I wear for this tour?

We suggest that you wear comfortable walking shoes as there is quite a bit of walking involved on uneven surfaces.

What should I wear if I want to visit some religious sites?

If you intend to visit religious sites, please have knees and shoulders covered (both men and women).

Is this tour accessible for people with limited walking abilities?

The itinerary can certainly be customised according to your needs, but please note that some areas may not be accessible with a stroller/wheelchair or for people with limited walking abilities.

Where and how will I find the driver at Naples port?

Your driver will be waiting for you outside of the cruise ship terminal (just outside the white building) holding a sign with your name written on it.

Your driver will be waiting for you at the gangway of your cruise ship holding a sign with your name written on it.

Where and how will I find the driver at Sorrento port?

Your driver will be waiting for you right where the cruise tender will drop you off, holding a sign with your name written on it.

What is your back to port policy?

We have a back to port policy of at least 1 hour prior to the last scheduled boarding time for the ship.

What type of vehicle will be used for our tour?

We provide services in luxury Mercedes and Volkswagen sedans, minivans or minibuses (depending on availability). For parties of 1-3 guests we normally use a sedan. For parties of 4-8 guests we use minivans. And for parties larger than 8 guests we either use multiple minivans or a minibus (depending upon availability).

First time experience on a non cruise company organised tour. Joined another 6 passengers on a tour of Sorrento, Positano and Pompeii. Driver was waiting at the Port when we disembarked and we immediately felt comfortable with him. The tour was well structured giving us time at each destination to explore both individually in Sorrento and Positano and as a small guided group at Pompeii. Lunch was had at a restaurant overlooking Positano with plenty of local cuisine and wine. Our only concern at the start was getting back to the ship in Naples on time but it was clear the company has this factored in and we were back in plenty time to grab a drink and sit on the balcony as we farewelled Naples. No hesitation recommending this company.

We could not have had a better day. Paulo was waiting for us the moment we left our cruise ship and from then on we were treated like royalty. The van was lovely and so comfortable for the 5 of us. Paulo was the gem- he was so funny and wonderful with his stories and conversations. He took us on the perfect route which included a great lunch. We will see him again and look forward to that day!
