My wife and I had a personal driver tour of Italy for a once in a lifetime adventure, and Joe Banana's did not disappoint. Our trip included Rome, Naples, the Amalfi Coast, Assisi, Venice, Florence, and Cinque Terre. We had private tours of Rome, Venice, Florence, and Cinque Terre. Our driver was engaging and entertaining as we drove from place to place. We had a private tour of a cheese factory and a cooking class, but the highlight was a private tour of a family run balsamic vinaigrette that included a meal up in the hillside. From working with their staff, to the all the details they took care of, we would highly recommend using this company for your Italian Tour needs.

We searched for the right tour and the right company to help us celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. We reached out to Joe Banana based on reviews we had read and started planning a trip for August 2023. Milenia was the best person to ask all my questions and make suggestions. She calmed my fears when I was “nervous” about things and let me know she would always be in contact with us. We spent two weeks in Italy visiting Venice, Florence/Tuscany region, Sorrento/Amalfi Coast and finally Rome. We planned all private tours and drivers and none of them disappointed. They were all fabulous. At the end of the tours we felt like family. Milenia always checked in every afternoon and asked how things went. Some days we suggested a slight change for the next day and she would always try to accommodate. All do the tours guides were phenomenal and so knowledgeable about the areas. All the drivers were friendly and great. I would 1000% recommend them to anyone and should we find ourselves back in Italy I would not hesitate to work with them again.

What can I say? Definitely the major highlight of our European vacation. Our family still talks about our 2 days with Carlo and Bruno. Our first trip was with Carlo in Rome, and I don't think there is a better driver out there. He was so knowledgeable, had plenty of surprises, great restaurant recommendations, and the most professional and well dressed man in Italy! I cannot see us returning to Italy, and not experiencing another day with Carlo as our driver. Similarly, Bruno was amazing for our Positano, Sorrento, and Pompeii trip. He had plenty of stories, sang with our girls, and took us on the most spectacular drive I have ever been on. He also recommended an amazing pizzas restaurant, and had us back tour ship with plenty of time. He even predicted the afternoon breeze that came through Pompeii!! We built a customized tour with Joe Banana that was centered around Sorento / Amalfi / Pompei / Rome / Vatican City. It was an INCREDIBLE trip. Everyone we interacted with from Joe Banana was great. Our main driver Raffaele and main contact Milena were always above and beyond and the fact that we found our own VRBO places to stay and Joe Banana worked that in so easily made it even better! Our local guides in Rome and Pompei were extremely pleasant and knowledgeable and we even planned a private boat day with our Captain Luigi out to Capri (HUGE BONUS)! All in all would HIGHLY recommend Joe Banana and will absolutely use them again for our next visit to a different part of Italy!

Our custom three-week tour through Italy with Joe Banana was the trip of a lifetime! Milena arranged an amazing itinerary that covered everything on our wish list, even a private kayak experience in Sorrento. Our driver, Stefano, picked us up in Tuscany, and kept us laughing as we travelled to Cinque Terre, Sorrento, Amalfi, Positano and Rome, to name a few of the spots we visited. A highlight of the trip was our private boat tour around Capri. We loved the Parco dei Principi in Sorrento and wish we had allowed for more down time to enjoy our time there. I can't speak highly enough of the fabulous service we received and the attention to every detail. I only wish Joe Banana had offices at every destination on our travel list!

Best guided tour in italy: We enjoyed a 10 day private tour of Venice, Florence, Rome with day trips to numerous smaller cities for wonderful experiences like balsamic and wine tasting, cooking classes and gondola rides. Our driver Giuseppe’s was fantastic and the van was very luxurious. All aspects of the trip were delightful with plenty of down time, personal requests attended to and highly knowledgeable guides who enriched our experiences immensely. Our guides ensured we saw all the highlights in the many museums and churches we toured and helped us to understand ancient and Italian history and art. Would definately use Joe Banana again and highly recommend to anyone traveling to Italy. The entire experience was professional and excellently planned and carried out

We only had 1 day in Rome and were looking at the best way to see all the most popular sites without having to walk all over Rome or take taxis or buses. We searched online for a tour company and found Banana Joe. The sites that they listed were exactly what we wanted to see. I used the email contact listed and was in touch with Ana L. She was fantastic from the first email to the last. She was very prompt considering the 8-hour time difference. She answered all my questions and was very detailed in her responses. When we got to Rome - our driver was waiting for us at the Termani train station with our name. He welcomed us to Rome and escorted us to his very comfortable Mercedes van. The nice thing about this tour is we were the only ones. We didn't have to share our time with other tourists. We had a private driver for the entire day. Our driver Alex was born and raised in Rome and knew the roads and sites extensively. He took us where we wanted to go and also recommended sites that we weren't familiar with but so glad we went. He would drop us off where he could safely and then we would communicate thru Whatsapp where he was located when we were done visiting the site. He never rushed us and we could take however long we wanted at any site. He dropped us off in an area that had several restaurants for lunch. We took our time and had a nice leisurely lunch. When we were done seeing all the sites we wanted to see, Alex dropped us back off at the train station. It was the end of a perfect day. One thing to keep in mind is that tickets to things like the Colosseum or Vatican are not included. So as far as I know - you only see the outside of these sites. That is what our family did. I highly recommend Banana Joe if you are looking to tour the major sites in Rome and want someone to take you everywhere. They are fantastic to work with and they take good care of you.

From the first contact with Joe Banana Limos - the service and communication was perfection. Ana was the most kind and knowledgeable person and kept up with us from the time of our reservation till we headed home. The drivers and guides were OUTSTANDING. We were picked up promptly from our cruise ship. We met our guide at the Vatican and had a wonderful tour. The next day was our tour of Rome - which wasn't easy, as many streets were closed due to The Race for the Cure. But our driver zigged and zagged and got us close to everything. Ana also handled a last minute request for airport service without blinking an eye. This is a FABULOUS COMPANY and I will keep recommending to anyone who is going to Italy. I promise - you can't miss with Joe Banana Limos.
